Record Store Day is upon us! The annual event, founded in 2007, is held on the third Saturday of April to celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store. The day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores all around the world to celebrate the vinyl lifestyle. In a world that seems to be focusing more on digital music, people are still discovering that there is nothing quite like the sound and feeling of a vinyl record.

A number of records are pressed specifically for Record Store Day and are only distributed to shops participating in the event. Below you can find a list of various stores around the country that will be taking part in the festivities. Some shops will even be hosting all day parties with live music, DJ's, food and drinks.
