Michael Menert is a true pioneer of the electro-soul movement. It is safe to say that he was an integral part of the birth of the Pretty Lights project, and his solo releases on the Pretty Lights Music are cornerstones of the genre. More recently, The Colorado-based producer has been pushing the limits of his live performance, incorporating a full live band to play with him on select shows.

Now, Menert is ready to show the world how much he has been able to push the limits of his sound with the upcoming release of the long-awaited 'Space Jazz' album on Super Best Records. In anticipation of the new album, Menert has dropped the new single "Everything Shines". With a soft beat and lukewarm synth stylings, Menert creates a unique soundscape that will melt your heart. The vocals featured were recorded by the producer himself, giving the tune a more personal vibe. Upon first listen, it is obvious that this song lives up to the appropriate title of its album.
